Are you still putting off scheduling your family pictures?

How many reasons have you come up with to avoid getting family pictures done? 

I bet I can guess some of your reasons! 

1)  You'd like to lose weight.  Well, most of us do, but we can't let that stop us from living our lives.  What if you thought of it in a different way.  Your children and your husband love you just the way you are.  They would cherish having a family photo and one that of course includes mom!  You are the heart of your home.  Don't underestimate the power of having a family portrait in your home and the stability that seeing a family portrait in the home brings to your children.

2)  We could never make the time.  A family portrait session is about an hour in the studio.  You and I would spend time on the front end planning the session, your clothes, telling me about everyone's personalities and connections, and where you'd love to display your new family portrait.  You make time for a million other things in your life that do not bring the lasting value of a family portrait. 

3)  My husband will not want to.  While I don't know your husband, I can tell you that I cannot remember any of the husbands/dads who have not been totally on board and surprisingly many of them have been the catalyst for getting the family portrait.  They love their family and they are proud of them.  Family portraits give him a chance to show off his beautiful family. 

4)  It costs too much.  Cost is a relative thing and everyone of us finds a way to buy whatever is really important to us.  When we value something, if we don't have the disposable cash available, then we save for it, and that makes it even more special.  Your family portrait will be more valuable to you and your family with every passing day.  When your children are grown think about how much joy it will bring you and the memories from when your children were the age they were in the portrait.  If you wait until you think you have the money for portraits, your kids will no longer be the age they are today.  Those memories will be lost.  You can't go back in time.  These family portraits will become priceless!
