Yes, no drop ins please.  A scheduled booking with prepayment is required for all sessions.  Feel free to call me directly or schedule a complimentary phone consultation.  Headshot sessions can be scheduled online, but must be confirmed and paid in advance. 

Yes, I have a home studio with an area dedicated to my photography business.  I also photograph on location.  No drop ins please - all face-to-face interactions must be scheduled in advance via appointment.  Thank you for respecting this. 

I am conveniently located in Grand Prairie, Texas, between Dallas and Fort Worth.  More specifically, I am just south of I 20 between Lake Ridge Parkway (161) and SH 360.

Session Fees are based on the type of session.  Schedule a quick phone call and we can provide you with more information.  

For Family Sessions, a minimum payment of 50% of the balance due is required to schedule/book/hold your session on my calendar, with the balance due on or before the session.  

All other session fees are due in full when the session is scheduled. 

Typical family portrait sessions are approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours. 

A children's session is around 30 minutes - they have short attention spans. When they are done, we are done!

Senior sessions are based on the package purchased. 

Standard Headshot sessions are 20-30 minutes. 

Branding sessions are based on the package purchased. 

Short answer is Yes.  I retouch all the images that you purchase, however I will typically retouch a couple for your viewing and ordering session so you can see what a finished image will look like. 

Standard retouching includes removing blemishes, scars if requested, softening wrinkles and lines, taming fly away hairs, and making any adjustments to exposure and cleaning up any background issues based on my assessment.  Extensive retouching may incur an additional cost but I would discuss this with you first. 

Payments for sessions are required in advance at the time of booking to reserve the time slot.  Obviously, keeping your scheduled appointment as well as being on time, is the expectation. 

I understand life happens and sometimes the unavoidable happens.  I allow one reschedule and ask that you give me as much notice as possible, preferably 24 hours minimum.  If you cancel your session with a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to scheduled session, and do not wish to reschedule, your session fee and tax will be refunded less a processing fee of 4% of the paid amount.   

Yes!  Once you have booked your session, you will receive a few emails with additional information, one of which includes a link to Getting Ready for your Photography Session that has lots of information on selecting your clothes.  

I am always happy to answer any of your questions regarding your outfit selections and you are welcome to text me photos of potential outfits for guidance and suggestions.  

Cell phones are great for taking "in the moment" quick snapshots.  Lea Rhea is a Certified Professional Photographer and as such, she will ensure that your finished images have been planned out, are composed and lighted correctly, that you are posed in a flattering manner, and that the final printed photographs are professionally printed on archival media that will last you and your family for 100+ years. 

In short, as your professional photographer, I will help eliminate or minimize the stress of planning your session and what kind of finished products you are interested in, give you advice on location and clothing, will help you select and then I will deliver your finished images.  Lastly, and maybe most importantly, you can be in the photograph with your family, instead of you being the person always taking them!  

WE offer a complete, full service portrait experience from start to finish.  That means we assist with planning what to wear, session design, location scouting, image selection, product design, and delivery - including hanging your finished portraits in your home.  Most photographers hand you a digital gallery.  We hand you a beautifully finished wall portrait that your family will love for decades. 

Yes - digital files are included with every portrait collection, folio box, and album.  However, we believe your portraits deserve to be seen and touched, not stored on a hard drive.  Your session is designed around creating finished printed artwork for your home first.  Digital files are included so you can share your portraits easily online and with family. 

Absolutely.  We work with families with children of all ages, including tweens and teens aged 10-18.  Teenagers who are initially reluctant often end up enjoying the session - we know how to work with them in a relaxed, low-pressure way that gets genuine expressions, not awkward smiles. 

We are centrally based in Grand Prairie, Texas and serve families all across the Dallas-Fort Worth area.  Our most common service areas include Grand Prairie, Arlington, Mansfield, Euless, Grapevine, Irving, Cedar Hill, Dallas, Fort Worth, Venus and Waxahachie.  We are happy to travel to your preferred location within the DFW Metroplex.
