A Fun Senior Session
I want to share some photos from a recent senior session that I had the privilege of photographing. This lovely young lady is a senior at South Grand Prairie High School. Abigale and her family are members at our church and we've known them for about 11 or 12 years. So we have literally watched Abi grow up! In fact, Randy posted a picture of her this week that popped up on his Facebook feed of him and Abi walking outside of our church; she was about 10 years old. Abi is the 3rd senior in this family that I've been asked to photograph - following her two older brothers. This year presents some real challenges for all of those graduating from high school, or college, or nursing school, or medical school or from any other endeavor in that the culmination of all the years of work that they have invested will not be able to be celebrated as they have envisioned with a graduation ceremony. For high schoolers, they won't be able to have a prom - another defining moment for the end of high school. And they are having to finish their classes online and don't have the joy and fun of seeing their classmates and friends each day as they prepare for the closing of one chapter and ready themselves for the next chapter to come.
In Abi's case, she has already been taking college classes concurrently with her high school courses so she is well on her way to her next major goal of getting her college degree. We wish her and all the other graduates a hearty CONGRATULATIONS and best wishes for a successful and happy future. For now, we had a fun time capturing what I hope will be good memories for her. Here are just a few of her favorites from our session together, and the one of Randy and Abi from a few years back! My how she has grown!
