Mattie & Bobby
This cute young teacher won a portrait session with me from a drawing held at a teacher appreciation luncheon. She was so excited when I called her. She and Bobby had been dating for awhile and she wanted to use her session to create some fun, memorable images of the two of them. We chose River Legacy Park in Arlington. What a delightful couple and we have so enjoyed getting to know them. They now have some dynamic metal prints on their wall as well as a couple of framed metallic prints that really make these autumn colors pop!
Interesting side note, Randy came with me on this photo shoot and he assumed it was an engagement session. He made several comments about it being an engagement session and I don't even remember if Mattie or I said anything to him at the time, but probably did not to avoid drawing more attention and to not make Bobby uncomfortable. We decided that Randy must have had some special skills because it wasn't too long after their session that Bobby proposed and now we have some wedding images to add to their collection!
Update, I had the opportunity to photograph their daughter, Bella, who just celebrated her 2nd birthday. What a cutie pie! She was really shy at first in front of the camera, like many children are in a studio setting, but once she decided everything was okay, there was no stopping this little sassy gal!
This young couple now have professional photos that mark the very beginning of their family and I am confident these will be treasured for many years. Not only by Bobby and Mattie, but by Bella and her new brother, Tre as they thumb through their album and look at the portraits hanging in their home.
